In order to broaden my reach, I have recently formed a collaboration with award-winning toy inventors Charlie and Maria Girsch. Under the aegis of Girsch Design (which became Creativity Central), the Girsches have licensed over 200 toy and game concepts worldwide. Their long history of innovation in “toy biz” and related industries has merited them many honors and accolades — including Germany’s Children’s Game of the Year Award!

Charlie and Maria grew up in Chicago, lived in St.Paul, Minnesota for 37 years and presently reside in Denver, Colorado, I have agreed to team up with them in such arenas where their contacts, connections and know-how would be enhanced by a partnership with me.

Who doesn’t love toys and games, but the new piece for me is that I now have a child of my own, Ryder. I am super aware of innovative play experiences for all the ages and stages he will experience as he grows and develops. I’m also interested in parent-assist items that make it easier for my wife Molly and me to nurture, guide and enjoy Ryder every step of the way. Hopefully, my collaboration with Charlie and Maria Girsch will become a new “Toy Story” of its own.
